One of each three workers working on those skycrapers buildings died. They were desperate inmigrants being exploited and as such those are monuments to death, kinda like a Mayan temple which sacrificed slaves.
Idiot. Iron worker safety was not what it is today, but to say 1 in 3 died is stupid. On Empire State 5 out of as many 3400 died. That’s it, 5. The numbers were similar on other projects, and as low as it is, it’s still too many.
