What a stupid way of thinking!, ill give the publisher of this article right! i know a very good photographer, some of the things he has done, you would think they were photoshopped, but i knew they were’nt!

Anyone who knows anything about photography will know that most of these were not photoshopped. It’s a combo of knowing how your camera works, good timing, and knowing exactly what kind of shot you want to get. There’s also talent involved. Don’t be hatin’ cuz you have no idea how to take an awesome photo.

I agree with you guys. It’s certainly not photoshopped. Long exposure and such were used for some of the photos. I’m very intrigued by the picture with the girl with fairy wings though. I assume that there’s some invisible wing-shaped thing that made the water form like that.

Agreed that the fairy wings one is probably shopped. Although you can get flukes when taking a photo. Perhaps if it is real, maybe the photographer wasnt even aiming to make a fairy picture. As for the rest it is down to skills and equipment. Long exposure photography, high speed shutter use, lens filters, different types of lenses. It doesnt all have to be digital manipulation. Let us not forget also that in film photography, the pictures have to be developed with chemicals. Different chemical mixtures produce different results too. Look up cross processed images compared to ‘normal’ images. Many world renowned photographers using film and developing it themselves in the darkroom would use the chemical version of the digital tools you use in photo software. Im assuming that Milander and Agreed arent photographers and have never spent hours and hundreds of shots just to get ‘the one’.

yeah, it’s called skill. People use to do amazing stuff with photography before photoshop. Digital photo is great, but imagination on how to do things beyond your computer is better. Some of these might be double projection and some contrast and hue adjustment, but all are do able. People used to have to learn art before they did it, now if you have photoshop and a printer you can call yourself and artist. Who will be the old masters of our time?!

All of these can be done without software.. You will not get these effects with the first shot mind you but none the less.. Just so you know, this might blow your minds.. not every photo that has hit the internet has been shopped.. Some photographers pride themselves on doing shots like the above without software.. But believe what you will even if its a small dank cave you choose to live in.

The one with the chick with the fairy wings made of water is certainly shopped, but the rest CAN be done with different camera tricks.
