Thats why they put them all in costume or makeup, so the studio execs dont shitcan the film for having blacks in it

he fitted into the et costume by having no legs and walked with his hands and arms, which produced et’s funny walk. you cant see it in the photo but he doesnt have legs. the facial movements wer created by animatronics and puppeteers.
